Hello, I’m Charlotte — the owner of Golden Heart Home Help 💛
I started Golden Heart Home Help because I wanted to provide a more personal, friendly, and reliable service for people who need a little extra support to stay independent at home.
As a wife and mum of four, caring for others has always been a huge part of who I am. Now that my children are growing up, I decided it was the right time to build something of my own — a business based around helping people, building genuine connections, and doing work I truly enjoy.
After many years working for other people within the retail industry, I wanted to create a career with more meaning and purpose while offering a service that can make a real difference to people’s everyday lives.
I like to think of myself as that extra helping hand people never knew they needed — whether that’s like a big sister, a friendly face, or simply someone dependable who can step in and make life feel a little less overwhelming.
I understand that not everybody needs personal care. Sometimes people simply want companionship, help around the home, support with shopping, meal preparation, laundry, or a friendly face they can trust and rely on.
I also offer support with getting out and about, including transport to hospital appointments, GP visits, hair appointments, shopping trips, and social outings — providing a much more personal and reassuring experience than travelling alone or using a taxi service.
As a mum myself, I also understand how exhausting and overwhelming life can feel after having a baby. I’m happy to support new mums who may just need an extra pair of hands — whether that’s preparing a home-cooked meal, helping with light cleaning and laundry, or simply giving someone a bit of breathing space during those busy early days.
My aim is to make everyday life a little easier while helping people feel comfortable, supported, and valued in their own homes.
I pride myself on being kind, patient, trustworthy, and approachable, and I always try to provide the type of support I would want for my own loved ones.
Golden Heart Home Help offers flexible support tailored to each individual’s needs, whether that’s regular weekly visits, occasional help, companionship, getting out and about, or simply having someone there to lend a helping hand.
I am DBS checked, fully insured, and passionate about providing a warm, dependable service across Gravesend and surrounding areas.
